βοΈ Consort Titles
A consort's rank, title, and authority exist through his partner. He is chosen β his status exists because she chose him.
βοΈ Consort of [Quality / Virtue / Element]
Titles for all other consorts follow this format β e.g. Consort of Wisdom, Consort of Storms, Consort of the Flame. These are not chosen by the person receiving them or by their partner. They are bestowed by the Head of House or First Heir only. Not every consort will receive a named title β it is earned and granted, not automatic.
Rules β Applies to All Consorts
- Title and rank flow from their partner β not independently held.
- Authority is delegated, not personal.
- A consort does not override or publicly contradict their partner.
- Disagreements stay behind closed doors.
- They are chosen β their status exists because she chose them.
- Can advise, represent, and act β but always in her name.
- Publicly undermining their partner is a serious offense against the house.
